Advanced 3-Man Umpire Clinic
Our instructional staff is comprised of current and former Triple-A professional umpires, current and former NCAA postseason umpires, and leaders in the umpiring community.
Upon acceptance of your registration, class schedule and any other camp information (when confirmed) is sent by email. Schedules are subject to change.
Currently, the clinic begins on Monday, June 24 at approximately 7:00 pm. The clinic concludes on Sunday, June 30th at approximately 4:00 pm or after the last live game assignment.
June 24 – June 30 | Only 35 Spots Available
This will be MAC/UCU’s only week-long summer three-man camp offering. This upper-level camp is designed for teaching and enhancing the skills required for NCAA conference level games.
UCU/MAC offers innovative instruction that prepares umpires to work three-man mechanics at the NCAA Division I Conference level. UCU/MAC believes in an intense and professional approach to the instruction of three-man umpire mechanics with an emphasis on plate and base work augmented by live game evaluation and on-field drills and instruction.
The talented staff of instructors will be led by UCU President, Chris Marshall, a four-time Super Regional Umpire and Conference Coordinator for four Division I Conferences and MAC Commissioner, John Porter, Conference Coordinator for two Division I Conferences.
The clinic will take place on the campus of Bard College and surrounding fields in Dutchess County, New York. The clinic begins on Monday, June 24 at 7 PM and concludes on Sunday, June 30 in the evening.
Tentative Camp Schedule
The evening of June 24 – Classroom
June 25–June 27 – Classroom and on-field instruction
June 28–June 30 – Live game evaluations
Lodging is available on the campus of Bard College in corridor style dormitories at a rate of $40 per night, double occupancy or $60 per night, single occupancy. Campers are responsible for their own meals.
Tuition only is $550.

Rates are based on a Monday (June 24) check-in and a Sunday (June 30) check-out. Rooms are available through Monday, July 1, if necessary, for an additional charge. Umpires utilizing Bard College housing must be paid in full by May 31 to guarantee lodging.

Registration closes on June 21 or when the capacity for this clinic is filled. If you desire housing at Bard College, you must pay-in-full by May 31.
