Instructors

Our instructional staff is comprised of current and former Triple-A professional umpires, current and former NCAA postseason umpires, and leaders in the umpiring community.

Schedule

Upon acceptance of your registration, class schedule and any other camp information (when confirmed) is sent by email. Schedules are subject to change.

Currently, the clinic begins on Sept 27 at approximately 6:00 pm. The clinic concludes on Sunday, Sept 29 at approximately 4:00 pm or after the last live game assignment.

October 4 – October 6 | Registrations Limited

This weekend is a very limited, small-scale clinic designed to provide advanced umpire training and evaluation. This clinic will be kept intentionally small (no more than 6 umpires). Registering is no guarantee of acceptance as registrations are scrutinized for approval. If currently registered for another fall clinic or camp, you will not be approved for this clinic.

Clinic Overview

This clinic is designed for a small, limited group, no more than 6 umpires. Applying for this clinic is no guarantee for acceptance as all registration will be reviewed for approval.

This is an intense weekend with a professional approach to the instruction of three-man mechanics. Instruction includes comprehensive classroom discussion of mechanics and techniques, NCAA Rules and CAA Mechanics, The Strike Zone, Handling Situations, Communication, Philosophy of Plate and Base Work, Field Work and Drills. In addition, live game assignments with evaluations of on-field performance are planned.

Location

This clinic is held in Orlando/Daytona Beach, Florida . The clinic begins in the classroom on Friday, September 27 at 6:00 pm – at our camp hotel, the Spring Hill Suites – Altamont Springs, Florida. Field instruction and live games take place in the Central Florida/Daytona Beach area on surrounding fields and college campuses. The clinic concludes on Sunday, October 6 after the last evaluation game.

September 28 – Classroom, on-field instruction, and live game evaluations
September 29 – On-Field Instruction and Live game evaluations

Lodging/Travel Arrangements

Lodging, meals, and travel are the responsibility of the umpire. However, we do offer a clinic tuition option that includes two nights at our camp hotel at $100 per night.

Tuition

Clinic tuition is $250. Space is limited, register today! Tuition must be paid in full by October 1. Registration closes on October 1 or when the capacity for camp is filled. All registrations are subject to approval.

Registration closes on September 23 or when the capacity for this clinic is filled. This clinic will be intentionally kept small (no more than 6 umpires).

Applying for this clinic is no guarantee of acceptance, all registrations are subject to approval. If you are currently registered for fall camp or clinic, you will not be approved. Also, we will not allow transferring a current registration to this clinic.
